[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][text_output]It goes without saying but a photographer needs gear. Like a lot of photographers I have my fair share. I have the little toys i.e. items I certainly didn’t need but wanted. I have the accessories such as lens cloths, caps and straps . I have the necessary things. The bodies, the lighting setups and the all important lenses. If you are new to photography or a seasoned shooter, when you want to take a photograph there is certain equipment you are going to need. There is only one place I go anymore.
Enter Focal Point Photography. Focal Point IS the best camera store in the Salem Oregon area. Hands down. They aren’t just sales people. They are photography professionals that connect and bond with their clientele. I have been in numerous times and have gotten friendly with people I have seen numerous times. If you think about it, it means one thing. We all keep coming back.
From their website:
[blockquote cite=”Focal Point Photography” type=”left, center, right”]Locally owned and operated in Dallas, OR, just 20 minutes west of Salem, Focal Point Photography is more than just a camera shop. We pride ourselves on being your one-stop photography headquarters. Located in Dallas Oregon, we are the Willamette Valley’s premier destination for photography beginners, hobbyists, and professionals. Whether you are seeking the latest and greatest in new technology or are getting back to the roots of photography with dark room operation, we have you covered![/blockquote]
I absolutely agree with this statement. If you are new to photography and need some advice, head on down. They will take the time to talk you through your purchase and point you in the right direction. Not only with a DSLR but with point and shoots as well. If you are a hobbyist or a pro, they have the gear. They rent cameras and lenses for both Canon and Nikon and sell bodies and lenses as well.
I really cannot say enough about the crew at Focal Point. They have helped me immensely. If you are in the Corvallis, McMinnville, Salem or Portland it IS worth your time to stop in and see Mike and the crew.[/text_output][/vc_column][/vc_row]
